It's already popular and called TEOTFW, there are a lot of fans who are waiting the season 2 of it.

Here is the scene that James met Alyssa for the first time.

James( Alex Lawther) is a psychopath who has a desire to murder, and Alyssa (Jessica Barden) is a girl who wants to run away from home.

We can see the performance of Alex Lawther on "X+Y", "The Imitation Game", "Goodbye Christopher Robin", and so on.

We can see the performance of Jessica Barden on "Hanna" made by Joe Wright, "The Lobster", "Habit", and so on.

They are getting along with each other, because both of them are misfits to the world.

タイトルで何となくお気付きの方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、本作のラストではスキータ・デイヴィス(Skeeter Davis)の「この世の果てまで(The End of the World)」という1960年代の名曲が流れます。

カーペンターズ、スーザン・ボイルなど数多くのアーティストにカバーされているこの曲は、スキータ・デイヴィスの最大のヒット曲で、歌詞は失恋ソングとも悲しい別れの歌ともとれるものになっています。

この曲のタイトルにサイテー(Fucking)を足したのが本作のタイトルなので、映像化するに当たってストーリーに合っていてかつタイトルにもかかっているこの曲を採用したのだと思います。

ネタバレになってしまうので詳しいことは言えませんが、あのラストでこの曲がかかるというのは感動ものです。

他にも、第4話ではリッキー・ネルソン（Ricky Nelson）の名曲「Lonesome Town」が流れるなど、選曲がハイセンスです。

ちなみに「Lonesome Town」はクエンティン・タランティーノ監督の「パルプ・フィクション」でヴィンセント（ジョン・トラボルタ）とミア（ユマ・サーマン）がレストランで食事するシーンでも使われています。

The creator said " If there's a continuing story there, then we'll carry it on and I think that [the characters] James and Alyssa are just so amazing that it'd be very interesting to see if or what happens next." and " I guess I kind of want to know what happens as well, right? Just as much as anybody else does."

Going by this timescale, if season two got the go ahead the earliest it would be broadcast could be October 2018.

Most likely it would then hit Netflix in early 2019 unless the streaming giant makes a new deal with Channel 4.
